The Fit Story

Before making these jeans we asked a lead pattern maker/designer how many samples will we go through before we can get our fit right and they said usually most get it done in 1 or 2 samples. The main reason for making these jeans was to have the perfect fit because most jeans these days do not fit right. The factory that made our sample Bullish jeans started to get frustrated with us after the 4th sample and asked us, “why are they never good enough for you?” So we explained, “We are making the perfect jeans and you can’t just rush through perfection. We will keep making samples until they are perfect.” They could not grasp it in the beginning but when you explain it this way, “Having a factory make one pair of jeans at a time with multiple design changes is extremely costly and we understand, please take our money and charge us for it.” Then they say, “no problem let’s make the perfect jeans”. After 2 years of development, fitment, testing and fine tuning we finally nailed it. We went through a little over 15 samples but we didn’t care because if we didn’t get it perfect, there was no point for us to exist as they already have thousands of clothing companies that slap it together.
